General Information
The Intel Core i5-13500 is a desktop processor with 14 cores. Intel Hyper-Threading technology is available and effectly doubles the core-count of the P-Cores, to a total of 20 threads. Core i5-13500 has 24 MB of L3 cache and operates at 2.5 GHz by default, but can boost up to 4.8 GHz, depending on the workload. With a TDP of 65 W, the Core i5-13500 consumes typical power levels for a modern PC. Intel's processor supports DDR4 and DDR5 memory with a dual-channel interface. ECC memory is supported, too, which is an important capability for mission-critical systems, to avoid data corruption. For communication with other components in the system, Core i5-13500 uses a PCI-Express Gen 5 connection. This processor features the UHD Graphics 770 integrated graphics solution.
